At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had the challenge of pivoting all efforts to managing the massive influx of reliance on both contactless virtual care, as well as in-person care for all 12 million Kaiser Permanente patients.

On-demand human connection
The number one piece of the experience we had to succeed with was virtual care via the app. The panic of Covid-19 put major stress on the entire healthcare landscape, and we delivered an avenue for concerned patients to instantly connect with healthcare professionals.
Real-time navigation at the physical campuses
The Kaiser Permanente facilities are large and can be difficult to navigate. We designed a solution to guide the patients to their correct area of care by giving step-by-step wayfinding in the app.
